The Company

Everything Accounted For (EAF) is a bookkeeping service for businesses of all sizes from many
different industries. We take the day-to-day bookkeeping requirements of these businesses
and handle it in the background with monthly & quarterly reporting for business owners. We currently have 30 clients with the smallest being an owner operated e-commerce business and the largest being a 12M+ Commercial Service Provider with 200+ employees.

We are looking for a Full Time Bookkeeper / Accounting Administrator with at least 2
years of experience in bookkeeping – experience using QBO accounting software is
mandatory. Experience using Sage and Xero is an asset but is optional.

The Role
We are looking for a team member to join our flexible, remote-friendly environment,
providing administrative and clerical support for our growing company. The job
responsibilities include the following:

-Full cycle bookkeeping; includes full cycle accounting – A/P, A/R, cheque
disbursements, credit card reconciliations, sales invoicing and other ad-hoc
responsibilities
-Maintain the chart of accounts and various financial reports (ex. P&L., Aging A/R,
Cash Flow etc)
-Payroll processes: data entry including the processing of contractor invoices,
employee payroll oversight, and executing payroll runs.
-Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties and responsibilities – Includes
communicating with different suppliers/vendors
-HST & Payroll Remittance/WSIB Remittance if needed
-Filing systems, lists and directories management
-Electronic confidential data maintenance and management
-Participate in the implementation of new processes and develop new practices as
deemed necessary.
-Attending team meetings and being available online via Slack/Video Conferencing to
answer internal team questions during working hours.

Successful candidates bring to this role strong multi-tasking and administrative abilities
complementing our administrative team with:
-2-5 years of related full cycle bookkeeping experience, with some payroll experience (required)
-Advanced data entry skills, proficient in MS Office (MS Word, Excel (Pivot, Macros
would be ideal), Outlook) and Slack messaging application
-Experience with QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Paypal, Sage and Xero
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Capacity to handle a variety of tasks and flexible to often change from one task to
another quickly
-Self-motivated to see responsibilities through to completion
-Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential
information
-Detail-oriented, organized with excellent time management skills
-Reliable and dependable both in availability and punctuality.
-Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy

Hours: Some flexibility up to 40 hrs per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Remote

Schedule:
– 8-hour shift x 5 days a week based on EST.
