BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY
Annie Aesthetic is a private equity fund that invests in and acquires medical aesthetic clinics across the USA. We provide support services to our partner-clinics, including accounting, payroll, operations, and compliance.
Summary of Position:
The company is looking for an accountant with bookkeeper experience to join their dynamic team. The bookkeeper will handle 4-5 subsidiary accounts on a continuous basis.
Responsibilities
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, following up on missing items and receipts
Prepares financial reports (weekly profit/loss; by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends).
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with federal, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Support the client engagement management process, including tracking and reporting time & expenses as needed.
Maintaining accurate client and contact data.
Play a key role in the billing process
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Provide administrative support team members as necessary
Management of various tracking software and spreadsheets.
Assist in the proposal process as required.
Support the onboarding and offboarding process of team members.
Coordinate travel arrangements for team members.
Coordinate team meetings.
Other office management duties as required.
Tracking company spend account for benefits
Reconciliation – ensuring bank accounts match to NetSuite
Ensure we have acceptable receipts/records as required (submitted expenses, Corporate Credit Cards, Etc)
Timesheets (Bigtime)
Reporting Research Results

Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Good judgment and analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Ability to foster strong working relationships with people to accomplish objectives.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements:
At least 2-3 years experience in accounting, finance, or related field
Experience with NetSuite and/or QuickBooks
CPA is a plus
Previous bookkeeping experience required
Experience with Payroll Payments and benefits
Experience with AP and AR
Experience with Payments – transfer and acceptance
Experience in working with multiple businesses under one umbrella is a plus
Experience with accrual accounting/GAAP
