We are a seasoned e-commerce business based in Canada, operating in the USA primarily on Amazon and recently on Walmart. We specialize in home, kitchen, arts, and crafts products. With over 7 years in the industry, we pride ourselves on delivering quality products directly to our customers. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and help streamline our financial processes.

Position: Bookkeeper & Accountant
Job Type: Part-time
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per month (subject to change based on workload)
Location: Remote
Hour Pay: $5 – $10 USD per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and reconcile transactions from multiple bank accounts, credit cards and PayPal on Xero.
2. Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software.
3. Prepare monthly financial reports and statements.
4. Work with Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
5. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations.
6. Maintain sheets that track average cost of goods sold for each product.
7. Calculate monthly margins for products based off COGS and several amazon reports.
Requirements:
1. Solid understanding of accounting principles.
2. Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
3. Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets.
4. Familiarity with Amazon private label business or experience working with an Amazon business is a plus.
5. Familiarity with PowerBI or Google Studios is a plus.
