Job Description

Perform bank reconciliation of 5+ accounts (clients) supporting various entities mostly engaged in Rental Property Management
Manage Accounts Payable
Invoicing and Accounts Receivable management
Create new vendors and Customers in the accounting system
Run reports, reconcile, and extract data from various Property management systems and tools
Run reports and extract data from different booking sites (Airbnb, VRBO, )
Weekly cash flow statements created to provide to Client’s management/board
Help prepare and send weekly financial dashboard out to management and owners
Enter sales, purchases, and labor data into accounting software
Create, review and analyze spreadsheets
Analyze trends and investigate possible discrepancies
Understanding Profit & Loss statements
General Ledger maintenance
Review and reconcile Corporate Credit Card statements and make related journal entries
Provide support for ad hoc analyses and other projects to improve efficiency
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing account information and trends
Perform month-end closing activities

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

3+ years of experience as an Accountant in a company with international operations in one or more of the following financial areas: Accounts Payable (or PTP), Accounts Receivable (or OTC), Accounting (or RTR), Banks, Controlling, Statutory Reporting, Management Reporting, Financial Systems.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced and multicultural environment to achieve clear goals.
This is a full-time position (40 hrs per week) and requires significant synchronous work with people in the US Pacific time zone. You must work in a timezone that overlaps by at least 4 hours a day with US Pacific timezone
Quickbooks software experience working with US clients
or other A/R and AP management software
Experience in Hubstaff, Deel, Time Doctor, Quickbooks Time, Sprout HR, and other similar timekeeping and payroll tools
Property Management Software experience: Streamline, Guesty, IGMS, Hostfully or similar
Salesforce, Hubspot or another CRM knowledge
Accounting / Bookkeeping certification or relevant degree
Experience in Project/Task Management software tools such as Click-up, Trello, Asana, FinancialCents, Karbon is considered an advantage
Experience working with US Accounting firm or Advisory Services is preferred

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

30MBPS or higher internet speed
i5 or higher processor
Minimum of 8 GB RAM
Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children’s noises in the background)
Back-ups in case of power or Telco interruptions
Good headset and webcam (Preferably noise-canceling headset)
