Job Description:
As a Bookkeeper of Enforcer Group, you will be tasked to manage accounts payable and receivable, process transactions, authorise credit applications, address overdue accounts, handle enquiries, manage and reconcile invoices and expenses, perform ad hoc bookkeeping, and other admin tasks that require attention to detail and financial process expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
– Process daily banking / customer allocations
– Authorise new credit applications and necessary credit checks
– Proactively manage overdue accounts, ensuring timely collections
– Provide prompt and satisfactory responses to customer payment queries
– Process credits and refunds accurately
– Send invoices and statements as required
– Monitor accounts inbox and action emails
– Follow up on overdue invoices
– Conduct weekly age debtors report
– Record purchases in Xero
– Allocate payments and record bank fees
– Keep accurate record of fees
– Handle BAS statements preparation
– Reconcile expenses, addressing discrepancies
– Allocating payments within Neto platform
– Perform daily bank reconciliations
– Generate monthly reports
– Any other ad hoc bookkeeping duties as required by management
– Assist in general administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
– Possess a minimum of 5-year bookkeeping experience in a business environment
– Display a mastery in using Xero software to handle the financial tasks outlined above
– Skilled in using tools such as Microsoft Office/365 to enhance reporting
– Has a reputation for being reliable and punctual, to consistently meet deadlines while delivering accurate financial insights
– Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
– Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that financial entry and analysis is meticulous and error-free
– Hold relevant qualifications
– Effective in interpreting and analysing financial data
– Illustrate competence in comprehending balance sheets
– Demonstrate ability to review and interpret Profit and Loss statements, offering informed recommendations and strategic insights
– Exhibit exceptional communication and presentation skills; reading and writing in English, preferably in Australian English is the most important
Working Hours:
– Full time from Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM (AEST), commencing immediately when hired
Additional Requirements:
– Character Reference and Police / NBI Clearance
Training and Performance Assessment:
– 3-4 weeks training by staff currently doing work
– Performance review by the Manager on a weekly and monthly basis
