We believe that we work with our Filipino colleagues in an integrated and mutually beneficial way, and our CEO recently visited The Philippines to meet our team face-to-face. In addition, we heavily invest in training our Team to ensure that they remain current with their skills and understand the industry we work in and the dynamics of Cosy Hauz.
THE ROLE
This job role requires someone who has the following skills:
-Proven bookkeeping experience
-Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
-Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
-Data entry skills, along with a knack for numbers
-Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
-Proficiency in English and in MS Office / Gsuite
-Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
-BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
Job Description:
-Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
-Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
-Bring the books to the trial balance stage
-Perform partial checks of the posting process
-Managing the Uploads of supporting evidence for all transactions entered
-Performs bank reconciliations for all client bank accounts
-Managing the preparation of payroll
-Complete tax forms
-Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
-Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
-Reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts with the main general ledger account
-Reconciles general ledger accounts with external records (eg, HMRC integrated client account, liaise with a local accountant)
-Preparing weekly payment list.
-scheduling team meetings and team-building activities for the wider team if needed
-Dealing with professionals
-Utility Management
-To openly communicate with other team members and departments such as developments, serviced accommodation, finance, and marketing if some details and documents are needed to fulfill his/her tasks
SKILLS REQUIRED
-must be extremely organised
-has excellent written and spoken English
-has good interpersonal and communication skills
-required to have an excellent telephone etiquette
-have a growth mindset
-must be willing to be trained and happy to learn new skills
WORK HOURS AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time role; you will be expected to work 40 hours per week.
Your working day will be aligned to the U.K. working day, and you will be expected to work from 3PM until 12AM PH time.

Starting rate will be between £400 to £500.00 per month, depending on your experience, and all VAs are eligible for a salary review every year!
