Bookkeeper – Innovative Nutrition Company in The UK

Biospan is a luxurious, private chef service that provides in-home chef service with complete nutrition support, using only the freshest, most organic ingredients grown using regenerative agricultural practices. We are looking for a bookkeeper to help us manage our finances and reduce costs. This is a remote position, open to candidates based in Philippines.

Responsibilities:
— Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
— Prepare and submit invoices, and reconcile bank statements
— Process payroll and manage employee benefits
— Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements
— Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports
— Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
— Implement and maintain effective internal control systems and procedures
— Provide support to other departments as needed
— Prepare cashflow forecasts and generate scenarios through Google Sheet spreadsheets
— Helping the company with projects e.g. generating new product pricing models, research, etc

Requirements:
— At least [Insert minimum number of years] years of experience in bookkeeping and financial management
— Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
— Proficient in Xero
— Must be proficient in Excel and/or Google sheets
— Excellent organizational and analytical skills
— Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
— Strong written and verbal communication skills
