Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team and take charge of maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with various accounting regulations. As a vital member of our organization, the Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in streamlining our financial processes, providing reliable data for decision-making, and contributing to our overall financial health.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

At least 2-3 years’ experience using Xero, MYOB

Great attention to details

Ability to multi-task and prioritisation skills

Responsibilities:

Financial Accuracy: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording all financial transactions with precision and attention to detail. By meticulously managing financial data, the Bookkeeper will reduce the chances of errors, enabling us to make well-informed decisions based on reliable information.

Time-Efficiency: With a dedicated Bookkeeper in place, other team members will be able to focus on their core responsibilities, leading to increased overall productivity. The Bookkeeper will efficiently handle financial tasks, allowing the team to work collaboratively towards achieving organizational goals.

Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations is paramount to maintaining our reputation and financial stability. The Bookkeeper will meticulously adhere to all relevant laws and industry standards, making our financial reporting transparent, accurate, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Financial Analysis: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for organizing financial data in a structured manner, enabling easy analysis of our financial position. By generating regular reports and providing insights, the Bookkeeper will empower the management to identify opportunities for growth and make strategic decisions to enhance the company’s performance.

Account Payable
(Including process invoices, payment, remittance file and receipts)

Account Receivable
(Including issue invoices and allocation of payments.)

Reconciliation (Including Bank and Liabilities account etc)

Cash Flow
(Including historical data input to track incoming and outgoing payments)

Perform monthly end closing activities such as reconciliation of accounts, EOM adjustment and preparation of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement

Process Sundry arears and lodge EFT disbursement to MBL Portal

Lodge other bank transfer: refund, HEEAS, Debt Collection to MBL Portal

Perform EOM ledger and prepare company monthly financial statement

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Maintain CRM Record

Perform any adhoc related tasks

Time Zone: Australian Business Hours
