As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. You will work closely with various departments to manage financial transactions, prepare reports, and support the overall financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process accounts payable and receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.
Support audits and tax preparations, including U.S. IRS tax filings.
Handle payroll processing and related activities.
Develop and implement financial models using advanced Excel formulas.
Conduct financial planning and analysis.
Maintain extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency transactions and accounting practices.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist, Accountant, or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of cryptocurrency and related financial practices.
Experience working with U.S. IRS taxes is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced MS Excel skills, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA certification is highly preferred.
You need to have a certification or be very proficient with QuickBooks.
