Objectives of this role:
We are in search of a meticulous and seasoned Bookkeeper to become a valued member of our team. The perfect candidate will possess a comprehension of QuickBooks Online, US GAAP accounting standards, and proficiency in Excel at an intermediate level. The Bookkeeper will play a pivotal role in meticulously managing financial records, overseeing bank and credit card reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy of basic Excel workbook updates.

Responsibilities:
– Perform accounting data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.
– Records financial transactions, maintains accurate records, reconciles accounts (i.e.: bank and credit card reconciliations), and prepares financial statements.
– Update and maintain basic Excel workbooks for financial reporting purposes.
– Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards, including understanding debits and credits.

Required skills and qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
– 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience required.
– Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
– Familiarity with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) principles, including debits and credits.
– Knowledgeable in Cash and Accrual Accounting
– Strong foundation in bookkeeping principles and practices, including transaction recording, recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
– Has experience working in a US Accounting firm and is adept at managing multiple clients.
– Intermediate MS Excel skills.
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Proactive, not afraid to ask questions, maintains a can-do spirit and a willingness to tackle challenges
– Strong ethical and mental/emotional skills.
– This role demands a full-time commitment (no other employment preferred)
