Job Description

We are a growing bookkeeping, accounting and financial analytics firm focused on optimizing our clients’ use of QBO. We provide meticulous bookkeeping, as well as financial analytics and dashboards to help businesses thrive, particularly those in the e-commerce sector with complex inventory needs. Due to increasing demand, particularly from product-based and e-commerce companies, I am looking to hire an inventory specialist to help me and my team in navigating various inventory softwares, especially when we are doing bookkeeping jobs for our clients. You will be our to-go-to person when we have questions about the inventory tracker tools our clients are using.

This role, pivotal for our e-commerce clients, part-time or freelance. We require flexibility to work some of your hours during US Central Standard Time Zone (CST) hours for team interactions, with other hours being flexible.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS LIKE:

-Experience with Inventory Tracking Tools: Proficiency in using inventory tracking software such as SOS, Finale, QBO eCommerce (formerly TradeGecko), FishBowl, Zoho Inventory, etc., specifically for e-commerce businesses.
-E-Commerce Expertise: Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and their integration with inventory management systems.
-Technical Proficiency: Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and customize inventory tracking tools to suit the specific needs of e-commerce operations.
-Analytical Skills: Skilled in analyzing inventory data to ensure accurate tracking and efficient management of e-commerce inventory.
-Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent at identifying and resolving issues related to inventory tracking software and systems.
-Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities, especially in providing technical support and guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

-Inventory Tracking Management: Managing and optimizing inventory tracking systems for e-commerce businesses.
-Technical Support and Maintenance: Providing technical support for inventory tracking tools, including troubleshooting and regular maintenance.
-Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing inventory data to ensure accurate tracking and efficient inventory management in e-commerce operations.
-System Customization: Customizing inventory tracking tools to meet the specific requirements of e-commerce business operations.
-Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with the latest trends and tools in e-commerce inventory management and suggesting improvements.

COMPENSATION

The position is designed to fit a flexible freelancer style, accommodating with a part-time commitment depending on how many E-commerce clients we get. The initial compensation will be $9 per hour for the first three months of training and onboarding. After three months, the pay rate will increase to $12 per hour, continuing at this rate until a year. After a year of working with our company, we’d like to consider full time work with our company and compensation will increase again given your level of success in the position.

Over the next 3 – 5 years, this individual would progress in their role with more strategically focused responsibilities and manage a team of bookkeepers at higher compensation ranging from $30,000 USD ($1.7M Philippine peso) to $40,000 USD ($2.25M Philippine peso) annually.
