Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience using Xero, and be well-versed in tax reconciliation, payroll, and billing.

Availability: Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Hours of Work: 8 AM to 5 PM (Mon-Fri)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero
– Reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements
– Managing payroll and employee benefits
– Handling billing and invoicing for clients
– Chasing overdue payments through inbound and outbound calls
– Assisting with tax preparation and reconciliation
– Supporting the management team with ad-hoc tasks and projects

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of experience using Xero
– Strong knowledge of Tax reconciliation, Payroll and Billing
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Experience working in a fast-paced environment

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• You must work in a set time frame and be actively productive. You must only work for our company during the hours that you are working. This is not a “work when you feel like it” job. You have to show up and be working throughout the day.

• You must use our time tracking software and have daily Zoom meetings with your Team Leader to follow up on the progress of your tasks.

• High-speed, reliable internet is essential for this role (minimum 20 Mbps). Having a fast computer with a good processor and memory, having a second monitor is preferable.

• A quiet place to work without distractions or disruptive background noises so that calls via Zoom can be conducted easily.

• Willing to offer input/contribute thoughts and ideas and open to feedback.
