Job Description:
Our company is a leading provider of bookkeeping services specializing in home services and construction contractors, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Account Manager to join our remote team.
As a Bookkeeping Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing client accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and providing exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sort and categorize new and existing client transactions within Quickbooks Online and other required applications.
– Reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
– Assist with the administration of client payroll and communicate directly with clients regarding financial information.
– Utilize multiple software platforms to automate and streamline bookkeeping processes.
– Create and maintain reporting dashboards for clients, updating and communicating custom reports as needed.
– Assist with year-end 1099 and W2 processing for US-based clients.
– Perform administrative and data entry tasks as required, including Quickbooks cleanups and client onboarding assistance.
– Lead onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
– Collaborate with team members and management to optimize processes and improve client experience.
How we work / Compensation / Time Requirements:
– Flexible working hours; You are not required to be at your workstation for a set number of hours. Tasks are due on a specific date and your job is to get them done on that day. Some days are longer, some days are shorter.
– Compensation is a base onboarding rate + 12.5% of each account that you handle. The starting salary is $800 per month, which will be your set rate as you ramp up your client load. You will have at minimum 15ish clients. If you want to take on more, you can, and you will be paid 12.5% of the monthly revenue of that client. Thus, you can make more if you take on more responsibility.
– Remote position, with most clients based in the USA.
Requirements:
– 6 months to 2 years of experience using Quickbooks Online is preferred.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
– Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a growth mindset.
– Remote work experience is a plus.
