We are looking for a dedicated, detail oriented, results driven, and passionate individual to join our company as a Bookkeeping Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of 3 individuals that handle full cycle accounting. We want you to grow with us and become an integral part of our management team

DUTIES
• Manage and oversee a dedicated team of 3 bookkeepers by training and ensuring clarity of roles and key deliverables.
• Supervise general accounting duties including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, hst, payroll, government remittances, etc.
• Work with our external accountant to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
• Review and develop efficient and effective financial policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Working directly with the CEO lead monthly business reviews with financial reports of each business unit
• Provide management with reporting highlighting the financial health and status of the company via accurate and timely reviews of monthly financial reports including KPI’s, budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections and cost accounting.
• Oversee purchase orders and ensure proper flow and management of inventory
• Provide guidance on cost controls, cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization.
• Undertake special projects as assigned by management.
• Perform general Human Resources activities

REQUIRMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Netsuite or similar ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with commission sales staff
• Experience with inventory and inventory management
