Job Overview:
We are looking for a Bookkeeping Specialist who will manage daily bookkeeping, historical clean-ups, and various accounting processes for our clients. This role is crucial for strengthening client relationships by providing exceptional, personalized service.

Key Responsibilities:
QuickBooks Bookkeeping: Maintain and update financial records using QuickBooks Online
Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of all assets and liability accounts on the balance sheet including bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed assets, loan balances, payroll liabilities, etc.
Historical Clean-Ups: Perform bookkeeping clean-ups for new clients as needed.
Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries as needed.
Month-End Close: Conduct other month-end closing procedures.
Cash and Accrual Basis Support: Assist both cash and accrual basis clients with their specific needs.
Yearly Tax Filing: Prepares organizational and property tax filings.
Maintains liability and insurance policies for the organization.

Other Core Responsibilities:
Regularly prepares quarterly and annual financial statements. Develops and completes timely financial statements and reports on transactions and/or information requests as needed.
Manages and monitors the organization’s cash flow and works with Finance Manager and the Partners to monitor real estate development capital needs.
Oversees organizational budgeting, accounting and cash management to ensure accurate reporting, interpretation and analysis of financial results in conjunction with forecasts and long-range plans.
Establishes and maintains controls to safeguard assets, as well as documents and recommends improvements to internal financial policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all data

Qualifications:
Must have experience in bookkeeping for USA based company.
Expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO Certified a plus)
Strong understanding of financial statements
Experience with both cash and accrual accounting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Familiarity with Ramp, Expensify, , Brex, and e-commerce platforms

Language Skills:
Proficiency in English

Special Skills:
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi or similar software
