About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Brand and Content Strategist to join our team. As a Brand and Content Strategist, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SEO, brand voice, and the ability to write in a variety of styles and tones.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales.
Conduct high-quality research and interviews with clients
Edit and proofread copy as needed
Write engaging and attention-grabbing content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
Develop and maintain the brand voice across all platforms and materials
Write compelling product descriptions and ad copy for e-commerce websites
Write blog posts and articles on a variety of topics related to the brand
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and campaigns
Conduct research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Ensure all content is SEO optimized for maximum visibility and impact

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Proven experience as a copywriter or related role
Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
The ability to work under pressure.
Strong understanding of SEO best practices
Ability to write in a variety of styles and tones to match the brand’s voice
Familiarity with content management systems and graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite)
Ability to work well in a team environment and meet deadlines
Collaborative spirit
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Ability to turn a concept into compelling content
Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy is a plus!
