Brand and Web Designer

We are seeking a talented Brand and Web Designer to join our boutique agency. In this role, you’ll work directly with me, the founder, to create compelling brand concepts, web designs, social media graphics, and other marketing materials for a range of clients.

Your primary responsibilities include understanding client briefs, conceptualizing and developing design ideas, and turning these into captivating creatives. You’ll shape the visual aspects of our client’s online and offline presence, including their websites, social media channels, packaging materials, and so on..

We’re looking for someone with a flair for transforming briefs into dynamic designs, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to work systematically within a small team. Excellent communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate closely with the team to understand and interpret client design briefs.
– Conceptualize and develop designs based on brief requirements for brand identity development, websites, social media graphics, packaging, and other marketing materials.
– Prepare and present rough drafts of design ideas.
– Amend and improve designs based on client feedback.
– Ensure final graphics, website designs, and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with client branding.

Requirements:

– Proven experience in branding, web design, and social media design, especially within e-commerce.
– A robust portfolio showcasing a variety of designs, including website designs, social media graphics, and other marketing materials – links to portfolios must be provided in the application.
– Proficiency with Figma is preferred.
– Ability to work systematically, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
– Familiarity with integrating designs into Shopify themes is a plus.
