Boston HOA Management is looking for a highly organized and self-motivated Building/HOA Manager to support our property management team. As a Building/HOA Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential building or Homeowners’ Association (HOA). This role involves managing the property, coordinating maintenance and repairs, enforcing HOA rules, and ensuring that the property is well-maintained and compliant with all regulations. The Building/HOA Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for residents, board members, and vendors. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Property Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the HOA.
Act as a liaison between the HOA board members, homeowners, and vendors.
Respond promptly to homeowner inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of HOA notices, newsletters, and meeting agendas.
Maintain accurate records of homeowner accounts, including payments, violations, and correspondence.
Coordinate maintenance and repair requests from homeowners, working closely with vendors to ensure timely resolution.
Assist in regular property inspections to ensure compliance with HOA rules and regulations.
Assist in organizing and facilitating HOA board meetings, including preparing meeting materials and recording minutes.
Assist in the enforcement of HOA rules and regulations, including following up on compliance.
Assist in the preparation and management of the annual budget and financial reports.
Assist in coordinating community events and activities to foster a sense of community among homeowners.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to HOA management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in property management, real estate, or customer service preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in Google Suite and property management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of HOA laws, regulations, and governing documents is preferred.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards within the community.
