Amigo Technology is an IT service business and Managed Service Provider (MSP), located near Yandina on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. We have been operating for over 13 years, with the goal of making computers and technology friendlier to our awesome local small business clients. We are seeking a business administration officer that can work with our friendly team.

We would prefer this position to be part time, between 22.5 to 30 per week during business hours, but we are also able to offer flexible work hours if desired with the opportunity to move up to full time hours in the future.

We are seeking a candidate who has:

– A keen interest in working in a process-driven environment with a technology-focused team
– A desire to utilise a mix of creative and process-based problem solving
– Excellent English, both written and spoken
– A high level of attention to detail (put the word “AMIGO” in the “Additional Comments” section of our application form)
– A good sense of humour!

This position will have many opportunities for growth, and over time you will have access to internal mentoring, certificates and training programs to encourage you to work with a wider range of systems. Prior experience with the following would be greatly appreciated and will lead to greater earnings, although this is not a requirement:

– At least two years of experience working in an business administration position, ideally in an organisation that has a technology or service background
– Experience with various features of Xero, such as bank rules, activity statements, reporting and troubleshooting account issues
– Familiarity or experience with the Australian taxation system
– Ability to work with a variety of documents and spreadsheets, including the use of formulas and advanced formatting

Your duties will include the following:

– Processing general enquiries and administrative tasks
– Assisting technical teams with billing, scheduling and general communications with clients
– Updating and maintaining internal documentation, financial records and related systems
– Coordinating with vendors and service providers to achieve business outcomes
