Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document business requirements and specifications for IT projects.
• Technical Writing: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including scoping and design documents, system requirements, and technical specifications.
• Workflow Analysis: Analyse complex business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and the IT team, facilitating communication and ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of project goals and deliverables.
• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis and data modeling to support the development of IT solutions and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• System Integration: Assist in defining integration requirements and ensuring that systems are interconnected efficiently.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with teams to develop test cases and validate that IT solutions meet customer requirements.
• Change Management: Support change management processes, including user training and adoption plans.
• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruptions and delays.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry best practices and technology trends to recommend process improvements and innovative solutions.
• Cost Analysis: Assist in cost-benefit analysis to evaluate the financial implications of proposed IT projects and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
• Data Mapping: Create data mapping documents to ensure accurate data transfer between systems and databases.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and update existing project documentation and ensure that it remains aligned with the project’s current status and objectives.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Work with business users to define UAT criteria, assist in UAT testing, and provide support during the testing phase.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of implemented solutions, identifying areas for optimisation and enhancements.
• Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues or discrepancies reported by users and stakeholders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Capacity Planning: Collaborate with Projects and Development teams to plan for the required hardware and software resources necessary to support IT projects.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment, including interpreting complex workflows and understanding customer requirements.
• Exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to create detailed and accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Experience with data analysis and data modeling tools.
• Familiarity with project management practices.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Understanding of software development and system integration processes.
• Experience in change management and user training is a plus.
