Job Description

SMBC is seeking a self-directed Business Analyst to provide both business and systems analyst skills and perform business process and requirements analyses by leading stakeholder engagements on the gathering, documentation, and detailed analysis of business requirements.
This role will be responsible for working cross-functionally with a broad set of business units, you will use keen business process understanding, appreciation for user experience and quality, critical thinking, and focus on a long-term strategy to craft secure, high-performing, and scalable solutions that meet business and technology objectives.
This role will report to the COO.

Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, in process architecture, gathering, documenting business requirements, and test planning development and execution
· Experience in business process improvement and project management
· Strong understanding and experience in Project Methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
· Experience with documenting requirements
· Demonstrated experience applying business process improvement methodology to drive process improvements
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
· Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving scenario
· Critical thinking individual who has a balance of practical hands-on technical and business process experience
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (or equivalent)

Requirements:
· Must own a computer or laptop with minimum specs to perform the job function
· Must have own stable internet connection (minimum 25 MBPS upload and download speed), with backup internet connection
· With prior relevant night shift experience
· Fluent in speaking/writing in English.

Work Condition: Full time
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays
Rest Days: Saturdays and Sundays
Work Hours: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM Central Time
Work Set-up: Remote
