Job Description

The company is a new enterprise focused on acquiring (buying out) small digitally native businesses. As an example, the types of businesses I am looking to acquire are: Youtube channels (digitally native brands and other media assets), newsletters, podcasts, marketing agencies, and other digital product-based businesses. The thesis is that these types of “digital assets” are still undervalued by the market, and in many cases are not optimized. I seek to buy out, grow, and cashflow these acquired businesses. While I own these businesses, the idea is to use the cash flow to acquire more businesses.

I’m seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst. You will be responsible for researching, identifying, and generating a list of potential acquisition targets, primarily through email outreach as well as through business brokers. You will also double as my assistant -helping me manage my calendar and handle administrative tasks.

**Responsibilities:**

1. Identify potential internet-based business acquisition targets through thorough research and analysis.
2. Conduct cold email outreach to potential acquisition targets and build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities.
3. Research and establish contact with business brokers to facilitate the acquisition process.
4. Schedule, coordinate, and manage calls with potential acquisition targets and brokers.
5. Manage and organize administrative tasks and documentation related to the acquisition process.
6. Support day-to-day administrative tasks such as managing schedules, emails, and other organizational duties.
7. Provide updates and reports on acquisition opportunities and progress.

**Qualifications:**

1. Have a bachelor’s degree
2. Experience in a research, analysis, or administrative role.
3. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Be fluent in English. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
5. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.
6. Ability to work independently and take initiative
7. Experience in doing outreach or working at a startup or any finance subsector is a plus
8. (Optional) Able to do financial analysis
9. (Optional) Able to write content
