Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development professional to join our recruitment firm. As a Business Development Executive/Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and expanding the company’s client base. Your role will be pivotal in driving growth and revenue for our recruitment services.
Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential clients to introduce our recruitment services. Conduct market research to identify target industries and companies. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other business development strategies.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. Understand clients’ hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions. Regularly engage with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and explore opportunities for upselling our services.
Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue objectives. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth. Collaborate with the recruitment team to propose competitive and effective pricing models to win new business.
Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities. Analyze market data to identify potential business opportunities and areas for expansion.
Proposal Development: Prepare and present persuasive proposals and presentations to potential clients. Customize pitches according to clients’ needs and showcase our recruitment services’ unique value proposition.
Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure new business deals. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of client agreements.
Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance the company’s brand and create new business leads.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospecting efforts, and client interactions using the company’s CRM system. Provide regular reports and updates to management on business development progress.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
A master’s degree will be a plus.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the recruitment or staffing industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets and building client relationships in the recruitment or staffing industry.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the recruitment industry, including its trends, challenges, and best practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate and close deals with clients.
Results-Oriented: Driven by achieving and exceeding sales targets and performance metrics.
Networking Ability: Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales-related tools.
Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
