Job Description

Supertainer Containers, a leading shipping container trading company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to solely focus on developing our market in the USA and Canada. With operations spanning more than 20 countries, we specialize in leasing and sales of shipping containers, providing innovative solutions to our global clientele.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth specifically in the USA and Canada markets.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish relationships with potential clients, and expand our customer base in the target regions.
– Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for business development within the USA and Canada.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and superior customer satisfaction.
– Work independently, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals in the target markets.
– Meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
– Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and customer needs within the shipping container market in the USA and Canada.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically focusing on the USA and Canada markets, preferably in the shipping container trading industry.
– Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the USA and Canada markets.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English (verbal and written).
– Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
– Familiarity with the USA and Canada markets, including an understanding of local business practices and regulations.
– Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
– Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
– Ability to travel internationally, as required, to meet clients and attend industry events.
