Position Overview:
Caldertech Australia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead the introduction and sales of our HDPE Polypipe tooling in the Australian Civil and Mining industry. This is a remote position based in the Philippines, requiring a candidate with strong business acumen, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Australian Civil and Mining industry.
2. Identify and engage key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers in target organizations.
3. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
4. Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a deep understanding of HDPE Polypipe tooling specifications and applications.
5. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
6. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, and proposals,
7. Achieve and exceed sales targets by actively managing the sales pipeline and closing deals.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in business development, preferably in the Civil and Mining industry or related sectors.
2. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HDPE Polypipe tooling or similar products and a strong ability to communicate technical information effectively.
3. Sales Skills: Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
6. Initiative: Self-starter with the ability to work independently and remotely, taking initiative to drive business development efforts.
7. Market Insight In-depth knowledge of the Australian Civil and Mining industry, including an understanding of market dynamics, trends, and key players.
8. Remote Work Experience: Comfort and experience working remotely, with the ability to stay organized and motivated in a virtual work environment.
9. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
