Position title: Business Development Manager (Project)
Weekly hours: Full-time, 40 hours
Rate: $8/hr (non negotiable)
Overview of the role:
The Business Development Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, completing and documenting projects aligned with the business goals of the company and working with marketing, sales and development teams to formulate and implement business strategies.
Job responsibilities and expectations:
· Identifying business opportunities including potential markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
· Liaising with marketing, sales and development teams
· Helping set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth
· Creating project plans and objectives aligned with the company’s strategic goals
· Managing project deliverables, timelines and delegation
· Acting as a first point of contact for the company and dealing with correspondence
· Coordinating meetings and schedules between clients and stakeholders
· Giving periodical updates to clients and stakeholders
· Monitoring projects and documenting progress using project management tools
· Managing CRM and filing systems
· Other ad hoc tasks
Needed skills:
· Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical industry
· Experience in sales, business development, market research or other relevant roles
· Good English speech and writing skills
· Email and business communication skills
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Problem-solving skills
· Ability to multitask
· Internet/web navigation
· Knowledge of CRMs
· Knowledge of project management tools, preferably Zoho Projects
· A knowledge of standard software packages, especially Microsoft Office applications including Teams, and the ability to learn company-specific software
· Proactive and enthusiastic about delivering positive results
· Experience in coordinating projects from initiation to completion
· Experience in dealing with American/global roster of clients:
Minimum Qualifications:
– Amenable to working during US business hours for 40 hours a week.
– Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline.
– Distraction-free workspace
– Working computer (preferably with a minimum of 8GB RAM, an i3 Intel Core Processor, or its equivalent) and a backup computer
– Fast, stable internet (minimum dedicated 20mbps-download/upload) and a backup internet connection
– Good headset (preferably with noise canceling feature)
– Clear webcam
