As a Remote Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the 3D printing and CNC machining sectors. This is a remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise in sales and business development to engage potential clients, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue growth for New Forge Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
– Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industries for our 3D printing and CNC machining services.
– Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine and optimize sales strategies.
2. Client Acquisition:
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand our customer base.
– Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns to attract potential clients.
3. Relationship Building:
– Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries, understanding their needs and aligning our services to meet those requirements.
– Communicate effectively with clients to understand their unique challenges and provide tailored solutions.
4. Sales Pipeline Management:
– Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient journey for clients.
– Utilize CRM tools to track and manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
5. Remote Collaboration:
– Work closely with the internal technical team to understand the capabilities and limitations of our 3D printing and CNC machining services.
– Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on client requirements.
6. Achievement of Targets:
– Set and achieve ambitious sales targets and objectives aligned with the company’s overall business goals.
– Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and market trends to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in B2B sales and business development, preferably in the 3D printing or CNC machining industry.
– Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
– Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills over the phone and through email.
– Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
– Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
