We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative who can close deals, generate and qualify leads – and move them through the sales pipeline. As the first line of communication with prospects, BDR’s should have a strong understanding of the sales process, researching new leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Identify and analyze potential challenges and areas of opportunity for prospective clients
– Outbound calls, emails and messages to educate business owners on the growth opportunities we provide through our services
– Develop and maintain sustainable relationships with prospects
– Provide quality leads and meeting preparation for our Business Development Executives
– Develop a pipeline of prospects through lead generation
– Identify prospect’s needs and suggest company’s services
– Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
– Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
– Set up meetings or calls with prospects and other sales executives
– Act as a Subject Matter Expert on company consultancy services
– Support the Managing Team on outbound strategies and lead generation efforts
– Report to the Business Development Manager regarding Sales on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
– 1+ years of experience in sales and marketing (3-5 years preferred, but not required)
– Preferably a sales internship (eCommerce oriented a plus)
– You are a team player, but a self-starter and you’re self-motivated
– High attention to detail and great follow up and follow-through skills
– HubSpot and Apollo experience a plus
– Asks questions and provides feedback in an effort to clarify mutual expectations
– Seeks advice on roles and responsibilities when needed
– Speaks and writes to peers in ways that support transactional activities
– Gains information and asks questions prior to taking action
– Asks questions and looks for data that help uncover root causes of everyday, defined problems

– Working knowledge of the eCommerce industry
