At Extend, we’re building an AI company offering virtual clerks to handle accounts receivable tasks for large finance teams. These AI clerks work non-stop, 24×7, and are not just productivity boosters, they’re capable of managing the entire accounts receivable process, end-to-end.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and effective, cold email outreach. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct outbound email campaigns to generate leads and book demo meetings with targeted prospects.
Utilize various tools and techniques to source emails and relevant contact information for prospecting.
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify ideal customer profiles (ICP) and tailor outreach strategies accordingly.
Research and build lists of companies matching our target market criteria.
Identify key decision-makers within targeted companies and initiate contact.
Craft and personalize compelling email content to engage prospects and drive responses.
Implement and manage cadences and tech stacks to optimize outreach effectiveness.
Consistently achieve and exceed monthly quotas of qualified meetings booked.
Minimum Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a business development or sales development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
Demonstrated success in prospecting and generating leads through cold email outbound activities.
Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot), sales automation tools, and lead gen tools (for example, Apollo, ZoomInfo)
Proficiency in using prospecting tools and techniques for email scraping and lead sourcing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools and technologies.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Experience in the tech industry or with SaaS products is a plus.
Experience working with start-up companies is a plus.
