Our client runs a software development company. As a Business Development Representative in their company, you will be responsible for prospecting and qualifying leads to build a robust sales pipeline. Your primary focus will be targeting agencies and web professionals, engaging with them through various channels to understand their needs and introduce them to the company website builder tools. Your goal will be to set up meetings for senior leaders and account executives to conduct product demos and convert clients. This role requires a hunter mentality, consultative selling skills, and the ability to work independently to overcome challenges. Responsibilities:
Prospect and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline, targeting agencies and web professionals.
Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
Engage with prospects through various channels (email, phone, social media, prospecting tools) to understand their needs and introduce them to our company.
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies and campaigns for lead generation and conversion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas.
Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
Over time, conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, benefits, and value of the company.

Requirements
At least 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) industry.
You have an innate ability to get people to trust and like you and want to learn more about our business
Previous SaaS experience is a plus, but there are many pathways to sales success!
Ready to reach out cold via email, phone, Linkedin, and other sales channels and to hit quotas each month
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven mindset
Familiarity with website design, development, or related industries is a plus
Proficiency in using CRM software (we use ) and other sales tools to manage and track leads and opportunities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Candidates that have access to and experience with any professional sales tools (Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, , UpLead, Hunter, , Outreach) will be given preference
