Position Summary:

The Business Development Representative will be reporting directly to the CEO and is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, generating and closing new leads to support the company’s business objectives – basically the end-to-end sales experience.

Job Type: Full-time / Remote

Must be able to work **US business hours**

Responsibilities:

Navigating corporate structures to ascertain who the buyers and decision makers are.
Work in cooperation with the CEO and to schedule introductory calls with qualified leads.
Make sales presentations to potential clients
Manage, track and report daily prospecting and lead generation activities to the CEO.
Take appropriate action to forward the lead if an opportunity is identified for another sales area.

Requirements:

Prior sales experience in the transportation/trucking/drayage industry is preferred
Must love meeting new people and must love sales!
At least 3 years of experience in lead generation, appointment setting and sales closing is a must. 3+ years in a business development role
Demonstrated ability to create email templates and sequences
Demonstrated ability to do cold calling
Familiarity with any soft phone system, Office 365, Hubstaff,
Fluent in English, with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and comprehension skills.
Ability to overcome objections and deal effectively with rejection, while remaining personable.
Positive attitude and temperament to accept coaching.
Great interpersonal skills / team player.
Online internet research skills and working experience with online networking sites.
Demonstrate leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Access and Excel)
Ability to effectively utilize CRM tools to monitor performance and effectiveness of lead generation
Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies and lead qualification
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and balance team and individual workloads through effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Own computer / laptop in excellent condition

High-speed wired internet connection
You will be required to log time using Hubstaff Timer
