Job Summary:
We are a rapidly growing e-commerce startup based in Australia, seeking a dynamic and versatile Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will lead the development and management of data systems that encompass inventory planning, KPI tracking for customer service, and integration of data from multiple sources using APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning System Setup:
Design and implement a Google Sheets-based inventory planning system that automates stock ordering from suppliers based on sales projections, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).
Ensure that the system accounts for seasonality, demand fluctuations, and other relevant factors.
Continuously optimize the system for lean supply chain management.

KPI Tracking:
Create KPI tracking systems for customer service, including % of orders delivered on time and % of refunds.
Establish automated alerts for KPI thresholds and data-driven strategies for performance improvement.

API Integration:
Connect Google Sheets to various APIs (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify, Xero) for real-time data import and synchronization.
Automate data retrieval and updates to keep data accurate and up-to-date.

Data Analysis and Problem-Solving:
Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and devise data-driven solutions.

Documentation and Training:
Document data tracking processes and systems for reference and training purposes.
Train and mentor team members on data-related tasks.

Data Governance:
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Implement and maintain data governance practices.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, or Information Systems.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on setting up BI systems and automations.
Strong proficiency in Google Sheets or other spreadsheet software and BI tools.
Familiarity with e-commerce and inventory planning best practices.
Demonstrated expertise in API integration and data automation.
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
