Business Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations and Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing startup company. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building our business from the ground up, taking charge of operations management while also driving business development efforts to fuel revenue growth and execute our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operations, and business development, and preferably prior experience with job boards or employment platforms.

Responsibilities:
– Works closely with the CEO and all departments including marketing, product and customer success to execute tactical and strategic initiatives.
– Develop and execute the overall operations strategy to ensure efficient and effective day-to-day functioning of the company.
– Oversee and optimize key operational processes, vendor relationships, and customer support.
– Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities to connect US employers with job seekers in the Philippines.
– Drive business development efforts by identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with companies and key affiliates to promote our services.
– Stay up-to-date with the outsourcing job trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to capitalize on new market opportunities.
– Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess business performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
– Provide leadership and mentorship to a growing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
– Proven track record in operations management and business development, ideally within a startup environment.
– Experience with job boards or employment platforms is highly desirable.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational and business challenges.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and partners.
– Self-motivated and result-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
– Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving them towards achieving business goals.
– Proficiency in using productivity tools and software applications related to operations, business development, and sales.
