Business Planning and Systems Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic-thinking individual to join our team as a Business Planning and Systems Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our company by developing and implementing robust business plans, documenting systems and processes, and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive success. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We would also like to build a future role for the right person to continue full time with us by helping implement the strategies for our company.

Responsibilities:
Business Planning:

Develop and implement comprehensive business plans that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and input for the business planning process.
Systems Documentation:

Document existing business processes, systems, and workflows.
Work closely with department heads to understand current practices and identify areas for improvement.
Create clear and concise documentation for systems and processes.
KPI Development:

Define and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track business success.
Implement reporting mechanisms to regularly monitor and report on KPIs.
Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure KPIs align with business objectives.
Long-Term Planning:

Lead the development of a comprehensive 5-year business plan.
Identify strategic initiatives and milestones to drive long-term growth.
Work closely with leadership to align long-term planning with the overall vision of the company.

Knowledge in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in business planning, systems analysis, and KPI development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Proficiency in business planning tools.
Previous experience in transportation industry is a plus.
