Business Sales Advisor

We are a well-established, family-owned business with over 75 years of experience in manufacturing degreasers, soap products, and providing top-notch services in repairing and selling pressure washers. Our company has a rich history and a strong reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service. We are now seeking a Business Sales Advisor to assist us in preparing and selling our business to potential buyers.

Job Description:

We have not kept good records over the years. We do use quick books and have P & L’s but being a family business that was passed down we know we need help to understand what is needed to sell the business and help bringing all that information together to create a price for the business and the ability to geet paper work in order so a potential buyer knows what they are buying.

Help assess the fair market value of the business. Analyze financial statements, assets, liabilities, and industry data to determine the business’s worth.

Financial Analysis: Review and analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and other financial documents. Identify areas of financial strength and areas for improvement.

Key Value Drivers: Determine the critical factors that drive the value of the business. Highlight strengths and unique selling points to potential buyers.

Information Package: Create a information package that presents the business’s history, financials, operational details, customer relationships, and other relevant information in a clear and compelling manner. Help us find and create this information.

Market Strategy: Develop a marketing strategy to reach potential buyers. Utilize online platforms, industry networks, and targeted outreach to attract potential buyers.

Qualifications:
Experience in business valuation.
Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret P&L statements and balance sheets.
Knowledge of industry benchmarks and valuation methodologies.
Experience in marketing and sales strategies for business transactions is a plus.
