Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Buyer and Merchandiser for American furniture company Haus Of Tre company will need the buyer to have some experience in communicating with brands in the furniture industry and sourcing new companies and bringing them to our role includes updating the CRM system with new leads and new approved is expected to be very hard working and understand American furniture brands or willing to learn the must be likeable by the suppliers and build strong relationships, being a very polite person also takes this role a long way.

• An understanding of purchase order software platforms
• Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
• Ability to work with a team
• Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company
• IT skills to troubleshoot essential computer programs
• Managing prices with wholesale and retail and ensuring prices are up to date
• Buyers to have at least a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or a related field
• Sharing new approved accounts with the IT team for product upload on the online store
• Developing an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders
• Delivering a weekly purchase order report to supervisors that indicates the invoice number for all closed orders
• Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products
• Assisting the Supply Chain Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis
• Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate

MERCHANDISER ROLE EXPECTATIONS

• Monitoring sales and identifying any losses or stock wastage
• Working with suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices and order large volumes
• Collaborate with executives, marketers and salespeople to set prices that are good for the market and profit
• Getting to know the customer base and understanding their motivation and sales drivers
• Reviewing customer feedback to predict sales trends and seasonal stock demand
• Briefing staff on stock display and rotation to ensure every space is optimized
• Researching and monitoring industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate demand and changes in buying patterns
• Making predictions based on sales data, customer feedback and market trends
• Assessing the effectiveness of different product displays and store layouts on sales figures
• Reviewing competitors, including pricing, profit, marketing and other progress
