C#/ASP.NET MVC Developer

Hello! My name is Erik Gross. I an a senior .NET developer.

I have brought on a contract client. I anticipate that I will have work on this client for at least the rest of 2024. The application is pretty complex. It provides a complete platform for small- to medium-sized auto dealers to run every aspect of their business, including CRM functions, vehicle inventory management and interaction with credit and banking institutions.

I need a fellow C#/Click to view MVC developer to help me with the development effort.

Details:
– The project is in GitHub
– Uses MVC 5, EF 6, .NET Framework 4.8 and SQL Server 2018
– Development is best done on Visual Studio 2017
– Production app is hosted on AWS, as are our three other environments: Dev, QA and Staging
– There is a Project in GitHub with all needed dev tasks
– There is a Business Analyst on the project who has deep expertise in the auto industry

I will act as the senior developer on the project, signing off on all Pull Requests.

Skills and experience I’m looking for:

– C#
– Click to view MVC
– SQL Server
– AWS hosting of applications and Virtual Machines
– Gitflow work pattern for source control
– JavaScript skills – the front end uses a lot of it
– Git
– GitHub
– Experience with a complex .NET Application made up of several Project types (Web, SQL Server Models, Windows Services, core libraries, etc.)

There will be lot of work right away, and then it may taper off as we get some of the higher priority bugs handled. I estimate around 10-20 hours per week at the beginning.
