Salary: $5 to $7/hour
Project Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to create detailed 2D final plans and 3D renderings for a wood construction project. The project involves the design and construction of a 5,000-square-foot colonial house located in New York State. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction documents and working drawings, particularly in wood construction, and will be proficient in AutoCAD 17 or later versions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed 2D final plans for a 5,000 sq ft colonial house using AutoCAD 17 or later.
• Create comprehensive construction documents and working drawings that meet NY State construction standards and regulations.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings of the planned construction to visualize the project effectively.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Review and revise drawings as required based on feedback from the project team and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all drawings and documents are completed within the specified timeframe of 1-2 weeks.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a CAD Drafter, particularly in wood construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 17 or later versions is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, working drawings, and NY State construction codes and regulations.
• Ability to produce accurate and detailed 2D plans and 3D renderings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with 5,000 sq ft or larger residential construction projects based in the State of NY.
• Knowledge of colonial house architectural styles and design principles.
• Additional proficiency in other CAD or design software.
