About the hiring manager: I am a Partner at a Nashville, Tennessee based staffing company. I split my duties between client facing business development work (75%) and recruiting (25%). I am always on the go and have several business tools I am using for communication but need someone in a full to part time role to help coordinate and schedule my meetings using my inboxes across LinkedIn, Outlook, and a lead generating platform I currently use. I am an easy going guy but take my role very seriously and would love someone who can grow with me. I have a wife and two dogs and will be having our first baby (it’s a girl!!) any day now.

Job Title: Virtual Assistant for Calendar and Email Management

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain calendar for the employer including scheduling, rescheduling and canceling appointments
• Handle and prioritize emails to ensure timely responses
• Manage LinkedIn messenger communications and respond to inquiries on behalf of the employer
• Act as a point of contact for coordinating with other staff members and clients
• Assist in project coordination and tracking progress
• Manage travel arrangements and accommodation bookings for employer’s business trips
• Create and maintain accurate records of meetings, communications and other important data
• Provide administrative support for special projects as needed
• Ensure the confidentiality of all sensitive information

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position with direct experience in the staffing industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, Zoom, LinkedIn and Google Docs
• Experience in using LinkedIn for professional communication
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Good internet connectivity and a dedicated workspace for remote work
• ABILITY to work US Central Time Hours
