GoBright Lights of Calgary, Alberta, Canada is seeking part-time, energetic, hardworking, Call Sales Representative to start as soon as possible. Sales and call center experience is required. Every person selected for the position will be assigned an “expert” mentor that’s responsible for ensuing the intern receives the best training the company and industry has to offer. Post graduation full-time positions and advancement opportunities will be available for those that qualify.

Opportunity:

As a Call Sales Representative, you are at the heart of our business. Our customers require an affordable permanent decorative lighting solutions and inquire every day. To maintain our high level of service in the lighting industry, your goal in this position is to successfully service every client account with quality, efficiency, and build great customer relationships. We need someone with a strong sales focus but who also enjoys the mix of getting your hands dirty with operational tasks. Your thorough knowledge and understanding of our products and services will let you make great recommendations to every customer, and build trust.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Following up and handling service, sales, and customer inquiries through phone, text, and email
• Supporting operational functions to not limited to following up on estimate sent, booking appointments, and communicating installations
• Creating a positive first impression for customers and providing a high-quality experience
• Partnering with company founders and sales team to develop skills and fill sales pipeline
• Following up with new and existing leads to maintain engagement
• Building a customer base through prospect lists and referrals
• Developing customer engagement strategies and maintaining client relationships
• Assisting with office management as needed
• Interacting with consumers to understand their needs and create solutions
• Maintaining equipment and meeting or exceeding sales goals
• Communicating effectively with clients and promoting the organization’s products or services through persuasive copy.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Ability to execute company objectives and meet sales targets
• Strong customer relationship building skills and empathy for customer needs
• Ability to work well in a competitive team environment
• Persistence through the sales cycle
• Previous B2C sales experience is beneficial but not required
• Experience interacting with customers in a competitive sales environment is beneficial but not required
• Strong goal-setting and communication skills
• Passion for learning and becoming an expert in the permanent LED lighting industry
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Proven success in a sales role
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to cold call and build a sales book
• Strong ability to develop relationships over the phone and virtual meetings
• Knowledge of lighting products or relevant industry relationships is an asset
• Familiarity with CRM (HubSpot), RingCentral, and Google Mail is helpful but not required.
