Job Description
We are looking for a Cancellation Administrator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage customer cancellations and process refund requests in an efficient and timely manner. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Service Hours are USA / Pacific Standard Time:
Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM PST
Responsibilities
Manage customer cancellations and refund requests by processing them in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain records of cancellation requests and ensure all necessary information is accurately recorded in the company’s systems.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding cancellations and refunds in a professional and courteous manner.
Probing skills to identify the reasons for cancellations are required.
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain necessary information to process cancellations and refunds.
Monitor and report on cancellation trends to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process changes to reduce cancellations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cancellations and refunds.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
Work collaboratively with other teams to provide excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in customer service or administrative roles, preferably with experience in cancellations and refunds.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience working with customer service software and databases.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints and difficult situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
Other Requirements
Access to a reliable high-speed Internet connection of at least 25MBPS.
Latest-model computer (preferably Core i3 or higher, with at least 8GB RAM)
Availability for scheduled and ad-hoc calls, meetings, and chats during weekdays
Quiet workspace that is conducive to video meetings and calls
High-quality, noise-canceling headset
Dual monitors preferred, but not required
Salary and Benefits
Work remotely from home.
Hourly Full time (40 hours minimum, more if you want)
