Canva Blog Post Thumbnail Specialist (REMOTE)

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and creative Canva Specialist who specializes in designing engaging and eye-catching thumbnails for blog posts using Canva. This role requires a keen eye for design, a good understanding of blog content and its audience, and the ability to create thumbnails that not only attract attention but also accurately represent the content of the blog post.

Key Responsibilities:

Thumbnail Creation: Design compelling and visually appealing thumbnails for a variety of blog posts using Canva. Ensure that each thumbnail is unique and resonates with the blog’s target audience.

Image Research and Selection: Find and select appropriate images, icons, and fonts within Canva to use in the thumbnails. This may involve browsing Canva’s library or sourcing free-to-use images from external sources.

Brand Consistency: Maintain the blog’s brand identity and aesthetic across all thumbnails. Ensure consistency in style, color schemes, and typography.

Collaboration: Work closely with the content team to understand the theme and message of each blog post. Provide suggestions and receive feedback on thumbnail designs.

Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest design trends and incorporate them into thumbnail designs where appropriate to keep the blog’s visuals fresh and engaging.

Efficient Workflow: Manage and prioritize multiple thumbnail designs to meet deadlines. Use Canva’s features efficiently to streamline the design process.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in graphic design, specifically with Canva.
Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and creativity.
Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with the content team.
