Job Description

We are looking for Care Navigators to join our small but mighty team at ReKlame. Our Care Navigators are responsible for supporting patients and providers to help create a streamlined and enjoyable experience for patients. Care Navigators work collaboratively with each other and our clinical provider team to support patients and are often the first point of contact for our patients – providing an exceptional and empathic experience is of the utmost importance.
This is a full-time contracted position (non-employee status).

Job Description
– Handle inbound inquiries appropriately and in a timely manner
– Make outbound calls to various providers, patients, pharmacies
– Scheduling appointments for our patients and providers
– Managing lab orders, including submitting, return and upload to EHR of results, escalating abnormals to provider team in a timely manner
– Managing provider calendars
– Ensuring third-party bookings are confirmed in a timely manner
– Prepare patient files and PDMP checks ready for next-day appointments
– Run eligibility and benefits checks with insurance
– Process payments for co-pays, co-insurance, and ensure outstanding patient balances are followed-up and paid (AR management)
– Managing prior authorizations, tracking, and follow-up of denials as appropriate
– Process improvement – we are a small team, and we must be efficient

Skills Needed
– Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
– Clear written and verbal communication – effectively and professionally communicate
– Detail-oriented, thorough, and forward-thinking
– Tech savvy – we work with a unique tech stack, so the ability to adapt and navigate new tech platforms is a must
– Work with minimal direction, independently and as part of a team
– Open to growth opportunities – be open to constructive feedback
– The ability to identify and analyze situations and provide recommendations for improvement
– An understanding of and empathy for the difficulties our patient population face when seeking mental health care in the United States
