#EST – 9a – 6:30p – Monday thru Friday – Fixed Schedule
This position is for a virtual clinic, so all care operations happen virtually – there is no in-person experience. We focus on serving patients with chronic pain.
This role serves as the central coordinator between our internal office staff, doctors and nurses, and external patients.
Daily tasks will include:
Answering the clinic’s main phone line – patients and insurance companies, mostly
Helping patients schedule or adjust their appointments
Outreach to patients to confirm appointments
Collecting patient insurance and demographic information
Verifying patient eligibility to be seen at our practice, which may include calling insurance companies
Collecting patient payments, when applicable
Communications with doctors and nurses about their daily schedules
Special projects may include:
Assisting payroll by pulling appointment reports from our EHR or RCM software
Calling and messaging with insurance companies to aid in credentialing new providers
Skill Sets Required:
2 – 3 years customer service experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience as Medical VA.
English-speaking a must w/ minimal accent
Candidate should be a people person – comfortable and patient dealing with a wide spectrum of patient personalities
Tech-literate. This role requires using numerous software platforms. Candidate should feel comfortable working with a modern office tech stack that includes Google Workspace and Slack
Comfortable working within a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, with strong attention to detail
Have a good and stable internet connection.
Should not have a different client at the same time of working hours since this role is quite demanding and will have meetings.
