ROLE: Candidate Engagement Specialist
REPORTS TO: Team Lead
SCHEDULE: Flex. This person will be working between US time zones and potentially UK time zones during their working hours. This role may require weekend coverage.
JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Candidate Engagement Specialist at Career Driver, your core responsibility is to proactively reach out to individuals who have submitted applications for driving roles within our organization. In this vital role, you will play a crucial part in our recruitment process by ensuring a smooth and engaging candidate experience.
EQUIPMENT AND CONNECTIVITY
We are seeking an ideal candidate who can provide their own computer and headset to ensure uninterrupted, noise-free communication during daily calls. Additionally, candidates must have access to a dependable internet connection to fulfill their responsibilities.
ENGAGEMENT WITH NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS
This role demands extensive interaction with native English speakers throughout the day. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to maintain active engagement and communicate articulately with our candidates.
DUTIES:
– Outbound Calls: Make a minimum of 100 – 125 outbound calls each day to individuals who have applied for driving roles.
– Timeliness: You will be given accounts where you will need to check the flow of incoming leads multiple times a day to ensure contact is made within the first 24 hours or less from the time the person has applied.
– Candidate Engagement: Engage with candidates in a friendly and professional manner, confirming their interest in pursuing a driving role with Career Driver.
– Information Sharing: Provide candidates with clear and concise information about the next steps in the application process, including any necessary links or directions.
– Team Communication: Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure a coordinated and efficient outreach process.
– Client Communications: Ability to craft professional written communications to clients regarding candidates in a clear and effective manner.
– Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, including recruiting leads, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

GOALS:
– Full time Career Engagement Specialists are expected to make a minimum of 100-125 outbound calls a day.
– Full time Career Engagement Specialists will be assigned accounts where any candidate who comes into the pipeline must be contacted within the first 24 hours.
