Job Description

The Social Media Manager will report to the CEO and be responsible for reinvigorating and growing the brand’s social presence through engaging storytelling and brand building. At a strategic level, they’ll lead the implementation of our social strategy to drive brand awareness and engagement. At a tactical level, they will manage the social content calendar, create social-native content, develop a pipeline of new content ideation, engage with fans in near real-time, and provide regular performance reporting.

Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy.
Define the most important social media KPIs
Manage and oversee social media content.
Measure the success of every social media campaign.
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Use social media marketing tools.
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
Excellent knowledge of best practices for Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media.

Qualifications
5 years of experience in social media marketing for a brand or agency
Expertise in Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and opportunity
Community Management experience is a must
Have an eye for aesthetic curation and cohesive visual and written storytelling
Knowledgeable in a variety of photo and video editing apps for the creation of social assets
Excellent copywriting skills
Comfortable with social listening and analytics tools
Experience presenting metrics and progress to leadership

Responsibilities
Work closely with the broader marketing team to establish, maintain and execute a social calendar that includes the key brand initiatives and messaging.
Establish evergreen messaging and creative strategy for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok while continuously evaluating emerging channels.
Manage the day-to-day posting and performance monitoring to ensure creative quality and cohesion.
Iterate audience growth strategies by thinking of creative ways to engage current and new followers
Conduct and present quarterly competitive research to identify new opportunities
Strategize, develop and post content that drives culture and increases brand relevance.
Amplify daily engagements with fans
Identify bigger opportunities, drive conversation, and build relationships with super fans and like-minded partners.
Respond to and amplify daily opportunities with high-profile accounts in partnership with our CEO
Monitor user-generated content for inspiration and reactive opportunities.
Communicate regularly with internal teams to develop, apply and scale social learnings across the organization.
