Responsibilities:
? Develop and maintain carrier relationships to effectively support our customers.
? Understand and utilize freight analytics and other resources involving logistics to make informed buying decisions.
? Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier accounts including conducting account reviews and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration.
? Build rapport with clients and carriers, clearly convey information and be able to negotiate and strike deals that benefit both the client and the company.
? Can think on their feet, adapt to changes, resolve problems, determine and implement the best course of action.
? Daily contact with carriers to determine availability and negotiate transportation rates.
? Provide consistent and exceptional service levels to contracted carriers and customers.
? Understand relevant software and technology tools used in the transportation and logistics industry.
?Research market trends and performance metrics to optimize strategies.
? Develop new carrier relationships and generate new leads.
Qualifications / Must-haves:
? Strong negotiation and communication skills
? Able to collaborate with internal and client teams to meet targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while delivering results.
? Resilient and able to maintain professionalism when challenges come within the sales process.
? Effectively manages time and stays organized with high attention to detail.
? WFH-ready set up (own PC)
You are a PLUS if:
? ++HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE as a CARRIER SALES REPRESENTATIVE (We’ll talk to you immediately!)
? With background/experience in telesales
? Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
? Freight/Logistics background
? Amenable to work US Time (ideally from 8pm to 6am PHT) or within the working schedule set by the client
