???? About You:

You are a driven and experienced accountant or bookkeeper who is very detail oriented and organized and has experience with managing accounting or bookkeeping for E-commerce companies. You take your time to make sure things are done right and have an eye for detail.

As a Cash Flow Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to monitor and manage the cash flow of the organization. You will analyze financial statements, forecast future cash positions, and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Your role involves assessing the timing and amounts of cash inflows and outflows, identifying trends that might impact cash reserves, and making recommendations to optimize cash management. You will also be tasked with preparing reports for senior management, supporting investment decisions, and collaborating with different departments to understand cash flow impacts. Your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning will be essential in helping the organization maintain a healthy financial position.

???? Key Responsibilities:

Part time (based on work output and not time)
Analyze Financial Statements: Review and interpret the company’s financial statements to understand cash flow trends.
Forecast Cash Flow: Develop short-term and long-term cash flow based on previous spending and future predicted spending to predict future financial positions.
Manage Liquidity: Ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs and financial obligation.
Identify Cash Flow Trends: Monitor and identify trends or issues in the company’s cash flow patterns including monitoring of upcoming orders.
Prepare Financial Reports: Generate monthly reports on cash flow status, forecasts, and variances for senior management.
Optimize Cash Management: Recommend strategies to improve cash management, such as optimizing payment terms with suppliers or customers.

???? Key Metrics We Expect You to Meet On a Weekly Basis:

On time completion of required tasks
No more than 20 hours per week depending on how long the required tasks take

???? Qualifications and Experience:

Financial Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and understanding financial metrics.
Forecasting: Ability to develop accurate cash flow forecasts using historical data and market trends.
Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in examining financial records and identifying discrepancies.
Problem-Solving: Skills in identifying issues and developing effective solutions related to cash management.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets (like Excel), and data analysis tools.
Experience in Financial Analysis: Prior experience in financial analysis or a related field is highly beneficial.
Background in Accounting or Finance: A background in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, often demonstrated through a relevant degree.
