About the Opportunity – Appointment Setter (for gym memberships)
Purpose:
As an appointment setter for a gym in Sydney, Australia, your role is to make a quick call to prospects that register interest in joining the gym (usually via a Facebook advertisement) and schedule a time for them to go and have a look inside the gym and meet the gym trainers and staff. The gym staff will handle all sales, and answer all questions relating to the gym, the membership options, and any health & fitness related questions during the on-site appointment – you just need to call and book the appointment. All activity will be conducted through a CRM, which you will be trained on how to use, along with scripts and training for your phone calls.
Experience:
Sales/Appointment Setting/Over-The-Phone Customer Service experience with company from an English speaking country (Australia, USA, UK, etc.)
Must have exceptional English Language proficiency
Data entry and experience with CRMs
Experience in the Health and Fitness industry is not essential, but will be an advantage.
If you have no Sales/Appointment Setting/Over-The-Phone Customer Service experience, we will still consider your application if you have exceptional English AND Sound friendly and energetic on the phone AND have a passionate for health and fitness/train at the gym regularly.
Tasks:
Respond quickly by calling leads within 5 minutes of the lead generating in the CRM (you will get an email notification every time a lead is generated – approximately 10 per day currently)
Follow up with leads that did not answer the call initially
Send SMSs to stimulate a response from leads, as well as confirm appointment times (Templates and phone system provided)
Keep all Lead information up to date in the CRM

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with your supervisor as well as customers/prospects.
Active/Critical Listening Skills: Pay strong attention to what is being said to you, without losing focus or becoming distracted. Ability to repeat what someone has said back to you in your own words to show that you’ve understood them
Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach in recording notes and ensuring lead information is accurate in the CRM
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, maintaining order and efficiency in setting appointments.
Adaptability: Ability to flow in conversation and maintain composure when conversations go “off-script”, but still find a way to move the conversation toward the goal of setting an appointment.
Ethics and Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of sensitive customer information.
Problem-Solving: Ability to handle objections.
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with other team members, providing support and insights to contribute to the overall success of the organization.
