Certified Public Accountant (USA experience required)

Position Overview:
We are a US-based business seeking a talented and experienced Remote CPA (Certified Public Accountant) to join our team. As a Remote CPA, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting services, financial analysis, and strategic guidance. Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the full spectrum of accounting services, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and compliance
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis and performance assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation
* Prepare and review complex financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and business growth
* Provide expert advice and guidance on tax matters, regulatory compliance, and accounting best practices to clients and internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address accounting issues, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely reporting
* Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
* Mentor and train junior staff members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (degrees from DLSU, UST, AMU, or UP preferred)
* Experience working with US-companies required (3+ years preferred)
* CPA certification or equivalent qualification required
* Proven experience as a CPA or similar role, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
* Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
